SVT was commissioned to create factory-produced vehicles that possess a balance between engine and chassis, design, refinement and performance capability. These qualities are the core of the SVT product development philosophy.
A key element in the SVT program is its special dealer body. Of the 4,900 Ford dealers in the United States, Canada and Mexico, only a handful are certified to represent SVT, less than 25 in Canada. To be one of those dealers, Cambrian Ford must have high customer satisfaction ratings; go through annual in-depth technical seminars, training in customer-care techniques specific to the enthusiast driver, and instruction in car control and performance driving.
